FAQs

Clear answers about custom design, production timing, shipping, materials, lab-grown diamonds, and aftercare.

Custom Orders & Timeline

Start here if you are planning a custom ring or made-to-order jewelry.

How long does it take to craft my ring?

Most made-to-order rings take about 7 to 10 business days to craft after the design, stone details, ring size, and payment are confirmed. More complex designs, special stone layouts, or changes requested during production can add time.

What is the custom design process like?

We begin with your preferred style, stone shape, budget, ring size, and any reference images. For custom pieces, we prepare the design direction or CAD details for confirmation, then move into casting, stone setting, polishing, inspection, and final approval before shipment.

Can I approve the design before production?

Yes. For custom designs, we confirm key details before production begins, including center stone choice, metal color, ring size, setting style, and any engraving or matching band requests.

Can I request engraving?

Yes. Laser engraving is available for many ring styles. Please send the exact spelling, date, initials, or short message before production starts so we can confirm whether it fits the design.

Payment, Shipping & Delivery

The most common questions before placing an order.

How long does an order take to be delivered?

For custom orders that include both the setting and center stone, the full timeline is usually about 14 business days from confirmed order to delivery for most U.S. and European addresses. Some regions may require an additional 3 to 5 business days.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order ships, we will send tracking information by email or message. Higher-value shipments may require a signature on delivery.

Do you accept custom order deposits?

For certain custom projects, a deposit may be required before design or sourcing work begins. The remaining balance is confirmed before shipment. We will clearly explain the payment schedule before you proceed.

Can I change my order after payment?

If production has not started, we will do our best to help. Once CAD work, casting, stone setting, engraving, or other custom production has begun, changes may not be possible or may require an additional fee.

Metals & Craftsmanship

Details about materials, making, and quality checks.

What metals do you use?

We use solid precious metals, not hollow or plated base metals. Common options include 14K and 18K white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. Depending on the design, other karat options may be discussed before production.

Why is white gold rhodium plated?

White gold naturally has a soft warm tone, so rhodium plating is commonly used in fine jewelry to create a brighter white finish. The base metal remains solid gold; rhodium is only the finishing layer.

How do you check quality before shipping?

Each piece is inspected for stone security, finishing, symmetry, design details, and overall presentation. For diamond pieces, we also check that important stone details are not hidden by the setting whenever possible.

Will I see the finished piece before shipment?

For many custom orders, we can provide final photos or a short video before shipment so you can review the piece before it leaves our studio.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

Answers for customers comparing lab-grown and mined diamonds.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same carbon crystal structure and the same optical, chemical, and physical properties as mined diamonds. The difference is origin: one is grown in a controlled lab environment, the other is mined from the earth.

What is the difference between natural and lab-grown diamonds?

The main difference is how they are created. Natural diamonds form underground over long periods of time and are mined. Lab-grown diamonds are created with advanced technology that recreates diamond-forming conditions. Both are graded by cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.

Will I get a certificate for my lab-grown diamond?

Many lab-grown diamonds, especially larger center stones, are available with grading reports from recognized laboratories such as IGI or GIA. If a certificate is important to you, tell us before ordering so we can source accordingly.

Are lab-grown diamonds an ethical choice?

Lab-grown diamonds avoid traditional mining and offer strong value, traceability, and modern sourcing. They are a thoughtful option for customers who want a real diamond with a different origin story.

Aftercare, Returns & Support

Helpful details for long-term wear and support.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Avoid harsh chemicals, heavy impact, and wearing fine jewelry during intense physical work. Clean gently with mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth.

Can my ring be resized?

Many rings can be resized, but it depends on the design, stone layout, engraving, and metal. Eternity bands, intricate settings, or certain custom styles may have resizing limits.

Can I return a custom or engraved item?

Custom, engraved, made-to-order, and special-request pieces are usually final sale once production begins. If there is a quality issue, contact us promptly and we will review it carefully.
